Yoga Certifications

Willow spent her formative years on the ice as a figure skater. She had the great fortune of being cast in the Emmy Award winning Opening & Closing Olympic Ceremonies in 2002. Her initial studies in yoga were led by professor Suddha Weixler in the performance department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In addition to these studies, she completed her first 200 Hour certification in 2005. Since then, she has completed many workshops and intensives with teachers from the Krishnamacharya lineage and aims to maintain the integrity of his teachings by providing practice material that meets the needs and circumstances of each student. This is offered through the methods of Hatha, Yin, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga.
